2008 Annual Meeting and Elections

The annual meeting will be held:

 
When:   Tuesday, Sept 9, 2008
Where:  Ray Elementary, 225 Swindoll Lane, Hutto
Time:   Sign in begins at 6:30 pm
        Meeting begins promptly at 7:00 pm

Important Agenda Items include electing four Directors to the Board and also a vote on Maintenance Charge Increase. A written notice will be mailed by RealManage and will include additional information, including proxy.

Volunteers Needed for New Seton Medical Center Williamson

Seton Medical Center Williamson is opening in Round Rock February 2008. They are currently building their volunteer staff and need to place about 350 people in all of the medical departments, food services, the gift shop, information desks and on the patient floors.

2007 Annual Homeowners Meeting and Elections

The 2007 Annual Homeowners Meeting and Elections will be held at the Hutto Middle School on Tuesday, September 4 at 7:00 p.m.

]]> The Middle School is located at 1005 Exchange Blvd., Hutto, TX 78634. Sign-in begins at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.

In order for a quorum to be established (10%) and Association business conducted, your attendance is needed. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please return the bottom portion of the mailed notice by assigning your proxy. Please return your proxy via fax (512-310-2355) to Alliance by Friday, August 31, 2007.

Please note only members in good standing (dues paid and no current violations) are eligible to vote and be counted toward the quorum. To verify your status, please contact Alliance at (512)347-2888.

If you are in good standing and would like to be placed on the ballot for one of the open Board positions, please contact Jennifer Harvey at (512)347-2888.

Upcoming Annual Meeting and Elections

The 2007 Annual Homeowners Meeting and Elections will be held on Tuesday, September 4. Please, mark your calendar. We need a good turnout so that we can officially conduct business. More information, such as the exact time and place, will be posted as soon as it becomes available.

]]> Many of you moved to The Lookout for the quality of life and character of living offered by our neighborhood. The Board of Directors and the Committees are tasked with preserving those aspects of our neighborhood through the guiding documents and the wishes of the Association. Every year the association holds an election for open positions on the Board of Directors and looks for volunteers for the various Committees. This year there will be several Board and Committee positions left vacant if you or your neighbors don’t step up and get involved. Without the participation of our residents, the nature of our neighborhood is at risk. Please, review the Board and Committee Descriptions and contact the Board (board@thelookout.org) for more information or to express your interest in maintaining (or enhancing) the quality of our neighborhood.

The next board meeting will be held on June 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Good Time at Picnic

It seems that everybody that attended had a good time at this year's neighborhood picnic. Special thanks go to the band Texas Crude for the music and to Carl Cannon and his family for the use of the bouncer.

Subdivision Picnic

As mentioned in the March 2007 Newsletter, our neighborhood picnic will be held Saturday, May 19, 2007 in the park area off CR 139 beginning at 11:30 a.m.

So far, the response have been very light. Therefore, we need you to R.S.V.P ASAP to newsletter@thelookout.org if you plan to attend so we can make appropriate plans.

Picnic Reminder

This is a reminder that the Lookout HOA picnic is just one week away. If you plan to attend and you have not done so already, please RSVP to newsletter@thelookout.org ASAP so that we can get a correct headcount for the food, etc. The picnic will be held Saturday, May 19, 2007 in the park area off CR 139 beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Volunteer Day a Success

We wanted to express our gratitude to those that came and helped with the successful April 28 Volunteer Day.

]]> We accomplished most of our goals in cleaning out the entry-way flower beds and repairing the dock and picking up trash at Lake Lookout. The only major thing we were not able to work on was some of the clean-up work around the dam. We plan to do something there in the very near future.
