Waste Treatment Plant Update
We recently had a neighborhood meeting with Mayor Ackerman of Hutto to discuss the situation. He seemed open to alternatives, but the current plans are still to have the new plant located adjacent to our neighborhood.
Note that two meetings that were mentioned in the last mailing have been canceled. Specifically, the 8/22 neighborhood strategy meeting at Mitch's and the 8/23 joint Hutto/LCRA presentation at the high school have been canceled. The Hutto/LCRA presentation had been originally delayed until early September, but now it has been pushed back further. We will send another mailing when we have the details.
