We have been in touch with the LCRA directly as well as with Representative Krusee and Senator Ogden. Both Krusee and Ogden sent messages to the LCRA expressing dismay at them placing the plant so close to a neighborhood when there is so much undeveloped land further downstream.

At present, the LCRA is considering other sites not part of the original survey, including one east of Cottonwood Creek, which would put the plant about a mile east-by-northeast of the northeast corner of the neighborhood. However, the actual site selection will not be complete until sometime in March.
