Board Meeting Minutes
Topics included: lanscaping bids, proposed rules changes, and repairs to the park area.
Full minutes:
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Those in attendance were Al, Enrique, Cliff, LaJoy, Gene, Johnny and Ron Penn. Two members of the Rules Committee were also in attendance. The minutes from the March 11th meeting were approved.
The first order of business was reports from the committees. Enrique did not have anything new to report from the web committee. The ACC reported that a variance was requested regarding a setback of a new home. The board voted unanimously to approve the variance.
The Landscape committee needs to find out more details concerning the entrance at Apache Pass. The board is
unsure of what property is available to build on. The issue has been tabled until Spring of 2004. Ron received a bid from Amazon Services for maintenance on the park and dam. The board would like the details of the bid to be changed and another proposal made. Ron will work on that and email the board with another quote. The irrigation at the park has been tabled until Fall 2003.
Two members of the Rules committee were present to submit changes to sections 3.01, 3.05, 3.07 and 3.11 of the deed restrictions. The board is to review and discuss these changes at the next meeting.
Ron reported that 30-day demand letters were sent regarding overdue accounts.
In new business, the board made a decision on the placement of the signs at the lake. The dock was fixed but was not done correctly. If the water level decreases, the dock will break or be suspended in air. The company that fixed it is to go back and do it correctly. The insurance company covered the gate and the fence at the park. It has also been determined that owners of two lots in the subdivision do owe two sets of dues unless they have the lots legally
combined by the county.
The next meeting will be on April 29th. The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
